Black Triangle drugs are drugs which are under intensive surveillance
for one of the following reasons:
the drug is newly licensed
the drug is a combination of two older drugs
the drug is being used for a different indication in a different
patient population
the drug has a novel method of delivery
Please report ALL suspected adverse drug reactions to any drug
which has a black triangle symbol
next to it in the SPC or BNF.
